Hello,
I have vhs home movies that I have over a thousand dollars invested in and I want to save them to quality DVD. I would apreciate any information that would help me get the best video capture card and other
components that I might have to have for this purpose.
I have a Gainward 6800 ultra video card and plain Audigy (creative) sound, with a P-4 cpu at 3,160 mghz. and 2gb OCZ PC 3500 ddr.
I also have both a LiteOn cd burner and a 1633s dvd burner. contact
me privately through my email please.
Thanks

| As a new comer, I would appreciate some advice about the quality of video capture cards. I want to transfer analoque VHS tape to DVD. I bought one video capture card and quality of the DVD produced is less than the original VHS tape. In particalr the colours are not as vibrant and the resolution is not quite as good as on the original tape. I do not know if this slight loss of quality is because of degradation of analoque tapes by converting to digital format or my video capture card is not up to scratch. Can anyone please tell me which is recongised as the best of the video capture cards say for under $400. I have a pentium 4 operating at 3.0 MHZ with 500MB RAM. Thank you. Peter |
