|
|
I have been looking all over the Internet for the info I need and am still confused.
I need to capture a bunch of HI-8 analog tapes from a camcorder. I purches a usb capture cable because it got good reviews. I am very disapointed with the results, even capturing with S-Video.
The video is jagged looking and not very fluid. I should be able to get decent looking captures, right? At least as good as watching it from a vcr tape?
I suppose I need a PCI capture card to do a better job. What is the best one I can get for as little money as possible. I would prefer one that works from within Premier Pro 6.5. Since I already have the editing software, I don't care about that in the package. Just the best quality.
Can somebody please point me in the right direction, as I can't seem to find actual reviews from people who know about the cards?
Thank you in advance for any help! |

I found this site that discusses best methods for capturing; hope it helps. I also have the same problem and am learning while enrolled in a Multimedia class.
