If you are interested in video editing, this acticle may help you find a well performing and easy using vedio editor.
1. Ringtone Media Studio
Ringtone Media Studio allows you to convert audio, images and video and transfer them to your cell phone without the need for any cables or Bluetooth. It includes a database of popular cell phone models and can automatically adjust the media to properly fit your phone. You can use the program to personalize your cell phone with ringtones, wallpaper, screensavers and video clips, using your own media files. Ringtone Media Studio includes editing tools to perform basic image editing, apply effects, fade audio tracks, record voice messages, edit video files and more. The results can be transferred directly to your phone via SMS, or (if available) via Bluetooth, infrared or cell phone data cable. The registered version also provides access to thousands of ready-to-use ringtones, images and videos.

2.AVS Video Editor

AVS Video Editor is a full-featured, yet easy-to-use video editor that enables you to edit and enhance your videos and convert them to a variety of formats. You can import existing video clips or capture them directly from your DV recorder or other input device, and automatically split the video into scenes that allow you to cut parts from the movie or re-arrange the content. You can add additional audio, transition effects, insert images, text overlays, and even video overlays to add special effects or annotations. AVS Video Editor can also apply color corrections, white balance adjustments and various other video effects to the duration of the movie or individual scenes. Once you have completed your project you can export and convert the movie to different formats including AVI, MPEG (DVD), iPod, WMV and also burn it to DVD or VCD/SVCD with the included burning software. Other features include DVD menu creation. The program is easy to use and offer more than one would expect at this price.
3. Ultra Video Splitter
Ultra Video Splitter enables you to split, cut or trim large video files and save them into shorter clips. You can automatically split files based on time per segment, number of splits, or manually select the portion to be cut, using the built-in preview. Ultra Video Splitter supports popular video formats, including AVI, MPEG I/II, VCD, SVCD, DVD, WMV/ASF format. The program can also convert between these formats, and can be used as a video converter, without the need to split the file.
4. Xilisoft video converter
The Video Converter is a powerful, universal AVI MPEG converter. Video converter can convert video file between all popular video formats such as converting WMV to AVI, WMV to MPEG, converting h264.
Xilisoft Video Converter also supports converting video file between DVD, VCD, SVCD, MOV, RM, AVI, MPEG, WMV, 3GP, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, H.264/PSP AVC etc. In addition, the video converter provides an easy way to convert video file to popular audio file, including MP2, MP3, AC3, RA, M4A, OGG, AAC etc. It supports APE, CUE decoding and audio CD ripping.

of course these software are non-free.you should pay some money to use it. if you do not care the quality of the vedio that you edited, you can try some free softwares. for example:

1. Windows Movie Maker 2
Windows MovieMaker 2 is a capable little editor and ships free with virtually all new XP computers these days, with upgrades available on the Microsoft Website and other addons available as part of the Plus! package.
2. Apple iMovie'05
Apple iMovie '05 is an excellent (and free) video editor for the Mac platform, with advanced video editing features and a lot of addon and plug-in support. You can find more information about iMovie at Apple's iLife '05 site. Note that this software is free only if you buy a new Mac. You can purchase it, however, if you just want the software.
3. ddclip Free
DDClip Free is another homegrown video editor, this one from SoftLab-NSK, a multimedia company headquartered (apparently) in Russia. Its interface is a bit difficult and this product is really aimed at the geeks among us, but it's free and that's the best thing about it. SL openly admits that this version is no longer supported and they'd like you to go with one of their "retail" versions. I didn't download or test this product, so I can't really comment. Again, let the buyer beware, and so on.
4.Avid FreeDV
Avid's free software lets you get in the Avid door for free. Fairly difficult to use interface, although over a dozen pretty good tutorials are available from Avid's website. Originally developed for Windows XP, FreeDV now runs on Macs on the OS X platform.

One or two editing tools is not enough for you to make your editing job perfect, so try to use different editors. Good luck everyone!!
