Thanks!!!! |
I have the Epson R300 (virtually identical, I have yet to see the difference). As for printing needs, every DVD and CD (-R, +R, -RW, +RW) has worked great. The silver printables even show color nicely -- which was surprising to me. I have also found that on the white-background printables a high resolution photograph that covers the entire disc looks excellent as well.
For what kind of media to use? I have found this to be soo confusing to me as well. And quite frustrating. I have had the best luck with Memorex and TDK thus far (I just got a non-printable 50-pack of Memorex for $14.99 at Amazon, which is a good deal -- if they work out!!).
BUT: I have found this site that I am now trying to use, which is GREAT help for more than just media reference/checking -- http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia
They rate the media and tell you what works best with your particular drive. They also have editing help throughout the site.
Hope that helps!!!
