I'm putting a 64bit system together and need to know some opinions on which video card is geared for, or better than, any other for video viewing thru the computer for video editing. I know this may sound like a simple question but considering the myriads of cards out there for GAMES... are there any geared more towards regular video play back. I am NOT a gamer (on PC's), my play time is in RT.. but as I look at all these video cards it becomes a challenge since none of them relate to standard NTSC type play back. I don't want ghosts or smears and lag time is a function of my DVI LCD. I'm using a external video capture box by Pinnacle and having very good luck with it on a Celeron based 2.9ghz system, but as I build my new sys on a Asus 8AN DLX I ponder over which video card. Any ideas..?
