Trouble deleting single frames using CHDC Media editor

when I try to delete a single frame ,it just goes black and will not let me do any more than 4. Is there any better video editor ??

Prefer one that does not take up much space on a small hard drive.

I also tried using movie maker ,but I see no option for deleting frames.

Any help would be appreciated.
