HOW TO CONNECT ANALOG VIDEO TO COMPUTER???

can i use an ATI radeon 9600 XT video card to connect my analog videocam to my computer?.... Do i need to have different sound card when connecting analog video cam?...

im a kindergarten in this field of art...pls help me...

What sound card do you have now? I don't think your sound card will be an issue as long as you have the appropriate inputs from your camera on
your video card.
Are you considering buying the 9600 XT or do you already have it? What inputs does your video card have (I'm not familiar with the 9600 XT)? I looked it up on the ATI website and they only listed output connections, not input.
If you don't already have the 9600 XT, I have an ATI All-in-Wonder and have used it to import from analog (VCR) and cable TV with no problems. It also has sound inputs, so your sound card is not an issue with the AIW.
