I currently have a Panasonic VDR-M50. Problem: I can NOT figure out how to hook it up for use as a webcam. The software included with the cam doesnot have anything to do with camera itself, it is all editing software. I am not able to add camera to computer as a P&P device. I currently use a logitech orbit and am not impressed. Have contacted Panasonic with no result. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Either connect your camera to pc by firewire, if thats not possible you could get a capture device/card which then you could connect your cameras a/v rca jacks out to the capture device then capture device to pc
just type capture device into any search engine
