Stand alone Video Editing Equipment with NLE

I am very disappointed with with Video Editing on PC's using Windows. I am not sure if Powermac G5 quad core will solve my problems. I think a dedicated Video Editing Equipment with NLE will solve my problem.

there's good reason why most video editors and production houses use Mac instead of Windows.

It's that way because Mac is DESIGNED for editing video, while windows isn't, it's just designed to stall, I mean, for all, kinds of stuff.
