Question about mpeg and avi formats

I am trying to make both mpeg and avi format short video clips "clickable". I want it so that when someone watches the short clip that it will EITHER automatically go to a website at the end of the clip or if you CLICK anywhere on the video clip it will take you to the website.

Is this possible? If so... how?

I am willing to employ someone with the talent to do what I need as listed above in editing.

correct me if i'm wrong, but don't think you can make the video clip itself "clickable".

however you can try import the video into flash and use flash action to make it clickable or redirect to any web site you want at the end of the video clip. so you may ask for suggestions from web designers instead of video editors.
