 I currently use Pinnacles Movie box Studio version 9 and I must admit that it lacks the consistency that I need. It is great up until rendering takes place and then it error after fault after error. I am seriously considering going to Adobe Premier, anybody use this software?

I heard Pinnacles Movie Box Delux 9 Plus takes care of the problem which you mentioned. I have not used the software myself yet.

| I've been working with Adobe Premiere 6.0 for a couple of years now, with the Matrox RT2000 hardware, churning out high-quality corporate videos. Premiere is a good workhorse editing software, simple to operate and user-friendly. RT 2000 is a constant headache, hardware and software. I'm currently about to ditch the combo because of constant problems, and I';m looking for something else more stable on a Pentium 4, 3.2 mz and 512 RAM. Any suggestions? |

| I use Studio 9 and I have the very same problems. On about the third or fourth burn, I might get a glitch free DVD. Considering DVD's are cheap now a days and I could use a DVD-RW if I wanted...it is okay. I put up the problem because I like Studio 9. I also use Adobe Premiere. It is not user friendly, but it is very reliable. There are enough tutorials on the internet to help you get familiar with the interface to do basic video editing, all the fancy transitions of Studio 9 aren't available...plus Studio 9 has better photo manipulation. However, Adobe Primiere has never let me down from editing to the menu building and burn in Adobe Encore. |

I'm encountering the same problems in using Pinnacle video editing software. I'm currently using Pinnacle Studio 10.5. It has a lot of good features and my PC is up to date when it comes to hardware specs but in the middle of my editing or "make movie" stage, my PC suddenly stops. I have to restart my PC and retrieve the project. Does Pinnacle company aware of this problems where encountering? Now I have to learn how to use Adobe Premiere. I'm currently usimg Adobe Premiere Pro v7.0. It's kinda hard but I'll get use to it.  |
