Hi

Over the last few years I have used a number of Editing products including Pinnicle 7/8 on the PC and more recently iVideo and Final Cut on the Mac (I am converted).

I have been asked by my sons school to recommend a video editing suite that would allow up to 30 pupils to edit seperate video snippits and allow the teacher to merge them at the end, possibly with a seperate product and produce a DVD.

I am looking for a freeware or cheap shareware product that will run on laptops running Windows XP. The product only needs basic functionality and should be simple to use.

Thanks In Advance

Rob
