Hello all,

I am very new to video editing. I have a dvr that has four cameras attached to it. The dvr will only aloow me to download a quad screen showing all four cams at once. I only want to do editng on one or two of the feeds. Is there a software program that will allow me to crop the frame size so I can isolate only one of the cams at a time to do further editng?

Please help

John

i would assume about any editing software will let you crop footage [with considerable quality loss, think of it as enlarging a bitmap file in mspaint]. If youre a big spender, Sony vegas, if you are only going to use it for cropping, then Nova Developments Video Explosion Deluxe.

The "Pan/Crop" option is in the video effects window [not tab].

Edit: Btw, wrong section.
