Hi, I'm new to Video editing and have a question regarding transferring standard 8 silent colour cine footage to DVD. Ideally I would like to somehow digitally copy each individual frame of the cine film, then digitally retouch, remove dust and scratch marks etc on a frame by frame basis before reassembling to finished DVD.

Is there any software / hardware that will enable me to do this ?

Thanks in advance for your help.
