hi guys i've been apart of the video editing game for quite a while now, though i have yet to find a program that can do a task for me what i want it do.wat i want it to do is sink videos together for example if i film something with two cameras at the same time and want to go from one camera to the other what program do i need, they do it all the time in shows like 'friends, sienfeld, pretty much all shows' but they use like 3 cameras and switch from camera to camera through the whole show, what peice of software can do this, or how do you do this??once uploaded the clip from both camera how do i synk it ??please help it would be agreat help... if you guys want you can check a movie i made at http://www.angelfire.com/scary/marty/index.html or http://media.putfile.com/Movie-i-made

Television video editing is different. Its basically a dude behind a few view screens and a few buttons and he just clicks a button changing the shots.

Time codes are good for syncing though i dont know too much about them really. my only opinion is to use one camera for audio and both cameras for visual. When you switch camera angles dont switch the audio with it then just sync the sounds to the footage the best you can [really really easy with vegas/nova video explosion Delux].

Hope this helped somewhat. If not for this issue [wich is old] then maybe for future issues you may have.
