The PYRO BasicDV is the perfect solution for the budget minded person
who wants to get started in digital video editing. The PYRO BasicDV
includes Ulead VideoStudio 6.0 SE for Windows users and the included
CD provides direct links to download Apple’s iMovie capture and editing
solution.
In addition, the PYRO BasicDV upgrades your computer to 1394 so you
can use all the latest FireWire/1394 peripherals such as the PYRO Drive
Kit, 1394 scanners, printers and even FireWire networking.
1394/FireWire lets you connect up to 63 devices to your computer and
operate at speeds up to 400 Mb/sec, that’s 50 MB of data per second!
1394/FireWire is a truly Plug and Play technology, just plug in a
device and it works. No re-booting, no waiting. Connect, Transfer data
and disconnect. It’s High Speed data and its hot pluggable.
